Shahnawaz Dahani, First Sindhi Cricketer at International Level


Shahnawaz Dahani was belonging to poor family who became identity of Pakistan with his own struggles

Shahnawaz Dahani born 5 August 1998 at Village Khuhawar Khan Dahani, District Larkana. He was belonging to a poor family and his father was a farmer. He also used to work with his father at agricultural fields.

His father was desirous to give education to Shahnawaz for further acquiring any government job. Since, his father got her admitted in B.Com so that he can acquire any earning job.

He was enthusiast of cricket and wanted to become an international cricketer. Since, his father was in try to keep away him from playing cricket.

After death of his father, his brother Majid Dahani inspired him to play cricket and introduced him Al Shahbaz Cricket Club, Larkana.

During his entry in Al Shahbaz Cricket Club, his family was so poor that Shahnawaz Dhani used to borrow sports kit like shoes, shirts etc from his friends.

Career Life

Shah Nawaz used play cricket since student life with tape balls at village level competitions, however, after introducing him to Al Shahbaz Cricket Club, he made his first-class entry on 25 November 2019, for Sindh, in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2019-2020.

Shahnawaz Dahani participated for the first time in Twenty20 on 23 February 2021 and became member of Multan Sultans for Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021.

He entered in Pakistani Cricket Team at international level during November 2021.

Shahnawaz Dahani is famous for his unique and funny style within the Pakistani Cricket Team. Due to his funny movement and funny jokes he is famous in Pakistan as well as liked by international players.

At the same time, some critic criticize him and advise that Shahnawaz should illustrate his performance, then he should impress his fans through his funny other his can be withdrawn from the team.
